Green is seen as a color of wealth and prosperity in much of the western world. In the United States, paper money is colored green. Throughout the middle ages into the 19th century, businessmen and bankers wore green.

Sickness Edit

At times, when one feels nauseous, a green tint will appear in the skin. In Celtic culture, green was often avoided in clothes as it was associated with sickness and death.
